Reindeer Run

On the final week of Term 1, all students across Year 7, 8 and 9 participated in a ‘Reindeer Run’ at the school, organised and assisted by Student Leaders.​

The student leaders helped to plan and organise the event whilst also planning fundraising events in the build up to the event to raise money for the local hospice, Springhill. Fundraising events included a cake sale, raffle draw with MU merchandise as prizes and form group loose change boxes.​

​

In total the school managed to raise a total of £640.97 to donate to the Springhill Hospice!

“The Reindeer Run was such a great way of raising money. We included the students and they too felt like they were a part of something to help the local community. Personally, I loved going out there and connecting with students, encouraging them whilst trying to raise money for the local hospice.”​
