Calling local businesses, education providers and community organisations!

Kingsway Park High School is keen to continue building strong links with our local community to help provide our students with an outstanding careers education programme.

We’re inviting local professionals and organisations to join us for our Business Networking Brunch – an opportunity to connect, share ideas and explore how we can work together to support our young people and the wider Rochdale community.

This year’s theme is Inclusion, with a focus on ensuring all our students have the skills, knowledge, experiences and opportunities they need to prepare for and access the world of work.

We’d love to hear your ideas and experiences and explore how we can work together to create a truly inclusive careers offer.

A fantastic start to Science for Year 9!
During their first Science lesson of the year, students took part in a practical skills activity, investigating how the temperature of different solutions changed over time using an ethanol spirit burner.
The lesson focused on developing important practical skills and preparing students for the skills they will need as they progress towards GCSE Science.
Year 9 showed excellent focus and enthusiasm throughout the lesson. Well done!👏

Kingsway Park High School is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our premises team.

📍Permanent | 20 hours per week | Term time only + 4 weeks
🕕 Monday–Friday: 6:00–8:00am & 3:00–5:00pm

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

We’re looking forward to welcoming our students back to Kingsway Park High School tomorrow, Thursday 3 September, as we begin a new school year together.

Please make sure you know your return time:

🔹 Year 7 & Year 9: 8.30am
🔹 Year 8 & Year 10: 9.30am
🔹 Year 11: 11.15am

Arrival arrangements:
• Years 7, 8 & 9 – please arrive via Stiups Lane
• Years 10 & 11 – please arrive via Canopy
