Masterclass

Year 10 Afterschool Masterclasses – Hopwood Hall College

We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for our Year 10 pupils, offered by Hopwood Hall College.

On Wednesday 24 June 2026, from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, pupils are invited to attend free afterschool masterclasses designed to give them a taste of college life and explore potential future subjects.

These sessions are ideal for students who are curious, passionate, or simply interested in trying something new. During the masterclass, pupils will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore a subject of interest
  • Experience industry-standard facilities
  • Meet expert tutors
  • Gain insight into studying at college

Please note that places are limited, and each pupil may attend one session only, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

We encourage all Year 10 pupils, parents, and carers to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity.

Work Experience for year 10 students

KPS WEX Guidance Booklet.pdf

During the summer term, all year 10 students at Kingsway Park High School have the exciting opportunity to take part in a work experience placement. These placements give students the chance to develop important skills, gain confidence, and experience a real workplace. Completing a placement can also help when applying for college, apprenticeships, or future jobs.

In the autumn and spring terms, students will be supported with activities, weekly after-school drop-in sessions, and guidance from staff to help them find and prepare for their placement. This ensures every student is ready to make the most of their work experience and succeed in a professional setting.

Please see below the Work Experience Presentation and Guidance Booklet to support you and your young person.
